Car stalls and shuts off while waiting at stop sign or light

Please help me. I have a 2004 Ford Focus. I have to get jump starts and can go all day, but when I leave car overnight, I have to get a jump start all over again. At one time I was at the red light waiting to go, and the car acted like it want to stop until I pressed the gas with speed. What's the problem? Please help. :( :(

The battery cables have been recalled along with a number of things go to your local Ford dealership they have to fix all the issues completely free of charge.
