2002 Ford Focus Heater Doesn't Work

What are the options for me to look at if the heater doesn't work. The only thing that blows out of the vents is cold air.

The heater core or hoses could be clogged-up. Further You can visually inspect the temperature control cable, blend door, temperature control switch and mechanical air temperature valve.
