Had been working on this Ford F350 for quite some time now. Came in with a PO171 and P0174 code. Smoke tested, found EGR valve leaking at the body, replaced that, replaced all oxygen sensors (3 of them) and the MAF sensor. Prior to this, replaced spark plugs, rotor, cap and wires. It went away for 3 weeks, came back with the same code. Replaced fuel pump, went away for another 3 or 4 weeks, came back with the same code. I suspect the injectors are not having good spray pattern. Have not done injectors cleaning, really appreciate your thoughts on this subject. The shop now owns this truck so to speak. Thanks and good luck.
