If the blower fan in your 2000 Ford F-150 only works on high speed, the most likely culprit is a faulty blower motor resistor. The blower motor resistor is responsible for controlling the fan speed at different settings, and when it fails, it often results in the fan being stuck on the highest setting.

To fix this issue, you will need to replace the blower motor resistor. Here's how you can do it:

Locate the Blower Motor Resistor: The blower motor resistor is usually located near the blower motor, which is typically under the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is usually held in place by a few screws.

Disconnect the Battery: As a safety precaution, disconnect the vehicle's battery before starting the replacement process.

Remove the Blower Motor Resistor: Remove the screws holding the blower motor resistor in place. Carefully unplug the electrical connector(s) from the resistor.

Install the New Blower Motor Resistor: Plug in the electrical connector(s) to the new blower motor resistor. Secure the new resistor in place by tightening the screws.

Reconnect the Battery: Once the new blower motor resistor is installed, reconnect the vehicle's battery.

Test the Fan: Turn on your vehicle's fan and test the different fan speed settings to ensure that the new blower motor resistor is functioning correctly.
