just yesterday it started. Whether I am in four wheel or 2 wheel drive a clunking noise persists on the drivers side front end. Its sounds like a front drive cv axle noise when you turn. Now I looked at the front end and the axle seems to be tight and no movement and same with the steering components, also no tears in the boots or oil leaking either. When I get on the throttle the noise goes away it only seems to happen when I get off the throttle or under minimal torque. I thought it may have been just snow build up but pressure washed it and its still there. Going to park it in a warm garage and thaw it out and check further into this problem. Get it on stands and check things out, but from what I have described do you have any inkling to what the problem might be?
thanks
