Electrical problem
2002 Ford F150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 68000 miles

I have a problem with starting my truck. Once the ignition key is turned to the starting position, only a klicking noise can be heard and the motor won`t start. I had replaced the battery several weeks ago due to the same issue. The problem came back. I had to alternator checked and it checked out OK.
It appears that the starte solenoid engages but the starter does not turn over.
What other checks could be done?
A couple of days ago I had the same problem, but misteryriously the truck started and ran until this morning again. I could not even jump start the truck with another vehicle.

Get a helper and hold key to start position and bang on the starter if it kicks over-replace the starter-if not check for power at the solenoid -power there again replace the starter-No power check the starter relay, Park/Neutral switch, and ignition switch
