Hello, A friend of mine changed my front brake pads today and they work great, however, now when I reach 70 mph or greater my truck shakes - what's wrong? The rotors were not changed, could they be warped?
Any advice would help, I am going to take it to a regular brake place tomorrow and see what they say, but being a single girl I would like someone elses opinion so that I am somewhat knowledgable.
Thanks in advance,
Karen

Depends on if it shakes when applying the brakes, or just shakes at 70+?

It shakes at 70+ mph without applying the brakes and when I backed off on the speed to around 60-65mph it did not shake, so I took it back up to 70-75 and it shook again.

Ask if the are sure the put the tires back on the wheels they came off of? Radials dont like side to side swaps! And they didnt try to take the 4X4 stuff apart?
