Engine Performance problem
2001 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 132000 miles

i think the fuel filter is clogged because it bogging out wen I accelerate. How do I get off the fuel filter off the lines I dont want to break them

Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter as follows: Disconnect the safety clip from the male hose.
Install and push the fuel line disconnect tool (availabe at most part stores) into the female fitting.
Separate the male and female fittings.
Inspect the fuel lines for any damage after the fuel is finished draining.

Please note that there will usually be a bit of fuel still present in the lines after relieving fuel pressure. This fuel will sometimes squirt or leak out of the fuel lines when removing filter. Wear proper protective gear.
