My truck was driven to work, parked and 8 hours later I tried to start the truck and all it would do is turn over, no start. I suspect it is not gettting fuel, there is fuel in the tank, I dont hear the fuel pump clicking with the ignition on but after talking with a authorized ford machanic, he suggested checking the schrader valve for pressure, then checking the emergency fuel shut off switch and as far as I can determine, the switch has not popped, and as far as checking the schrader valve for fuel pressure, I tried using a small screw driver to push in on the valve but I got nothing. I would like to make sure its what I think it is before I go out and buy one, as they are quite expensive. My question is, how do I prove conclusively tha it is/is not the fuel pump?
