2000 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 126000 miles
My ABS light just came on today. It dosent come on imediatlet upon start up but it dose in under a min. When I turn the truck off then back on it dose the same thing. While driving there are no problems what so ever when braking easy or hard. This same problem happend on my last truck (1999 F150) and ford suggested a new speed sensor for the rear differential but this only kept the light off for about 20min then it came back on and stayed on. I do know that by the ABS light being on that if I was to slam on the brakes my wheels would lock up, which is not a bad thing if bigger tires are on the truck-they are. But it is aggravating having the light on. ANY suggestions?
