2000 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I HAVE A 2000 FORD F150. THE STARTER WENT OUT AND I HAD IT REPLACED. A FEW DAYS LATER IT WENT OUT AGAIN. I DIDNT DRIVE IT FOR 4 DAYS AND I TRIED TO CRANK IT UP THIS MORNING AND ITS CLICKING AGAIN. THATS ALREADY BEEN 3 STARTERS AND 2 SOLENOID SWITCHES. NOW THERE TELLING ME THAT THE HEAD GASKET IS BLOWN AS WELL. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY TRUCK.

Hi Lisa,

Have you had the Battery checked if it has been sitting for 4 days it is possible that the battery is low. Check the battery cable connections make sure they are clean and tight. Also check the braided ground wires they will located in different areas and will ussually will go from the engine to the hood, firewall, or frame.

Also, can you tell be how the vehicle is running when it is running. Some things to observe.

Is there an excessive amount of white smoke or steam coming out the exhaust?

Is the Oil in the Coolant?

Check your oil is it over full and does it look milky?

If any of these conditions exist then you possibly do have a blown head gasket.
