Engine Cooling problem
1999 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 160000 miles

heater stop putting out heat so I added 1 gal of water to radiator and filled it up then drove about 80 miles and still cold air comes out. The heater hoses feels real warm at the firewall. Also I noticed a leak in my radiator that I didnt notice before. Is it normal for a little bit of water to come out of the tailpipe when the engine is cold? Thanks krista

The water is more then likely just condensation from the hot exhaust, and cold air, and the moisture in the gas when its burnt.

If both heater core hoses are hot then you should be checking proper operation of the blend door inside the dash.
