1997 Ford F-150 lower ball joint boot

1997 Ford F150 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

can you tell me if its possible to put another rubber boot on my lower ball joint without taking everything apart. Can I loosen the nut and split the boot and slide it on. And maybe seal it up. And if so what should I use to seal the seam of the boot. Thanks

You will be wasting your time trying to do that. I don't think there is any adhesive that will hold the rubber together. Best bet is to disassemble and install full boot.
