Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Ford F-150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles

won't start unless I spray ether into it. Opened the fuel line and the fuel pump is working. Replaced the fuel pressure regulator (it has fuel injection). Could it be not enough pressure coming from the fuel pump?I don't have a meter. Where is the fuel pump? They let it run out og gas a few times so I suspect it's the pump. Junkyard has one for $25. New it's $100 truck is for for farm use only and don't want to spend a lot of money

Fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. You do need to use a fuel pressure gauge to determine if you have a problem or not.

Here is the spec

Key On Engine Off 35 - 45 psi
Key On Engine Running 30 - 40 psi
