1993 Ford F-150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 209, 00 miles
After replacing radiator I serviced the transmission, replacing fluid in pan and torque converter, filter. Normal amount of metal chips in pan. It shifts fine and no problems are obvious EXCEPT a horrible whinning while coasting, or coming to a stop, once stopped I don't hear it any more. It actually sounds like a power steering pump low on fluid. Dip stick shows full, No leaks, No OD button blinking. I have no way of checking trouble codes. Is the pump going bad, or starving for fluid due to a clogged port? Is it serious?
