Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Ford F150 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 142000 miles

My f150 starts fine when cold but after I run it for a while, it acts like the battery is dying. It has to sit about five mins and then it starts up fine. The engine barely turns over untill then. I have replaced the battery, had the alternator checked, changed the starter solenoid (it went out for shure), and replaced the starter bushings. What am I missing?

Check / clean all electrical connections, starting @ the battery terminals & starter. I recently had a similar situation on my 1990 Econoline & although the battery cable ends looked clean & were tight, the connections were not good. Marginal connections get worse as they heat up.
