I keep having this problem. When I accelerate hard with my truck the engine will die and won't turn on for almost an hour after is shuts off. Also noticed once I've been driving it a while if I stall it out, it also won't turn back on for a while. Is this a sign of a failing fuel pump?

This sounds like the ignition control module on the inner drivers fender. When they start to go on these older fords they will die when they warm up then when they cool you can start it again and it will for a while till it warms and die again. Very common before you call the parts store you will need to know what color the grommet is where the wires go into the module. Let me know how it goes.
