I have a 1998 ford explorer sport with the 4.0 shoc moter. It ran good untill I got a new car and let the ford sit in the yard for a year are so. Know when I start the truck it runs good for 15 or 20 mins. Then oil pressure trops and engine starts ticking and I turn it off. Let it sit for 5 mins. And start it back and the oil pressure will go back to norm. It will run for 10 mins. Then do the same. Do you think becauase it sit for a year that the oil may be cloging the oil screen in the oil pain. Do I need to drop the oil pan and drian the oil and clean the screen?
