1998 Ford Explorer 600 RPM stalling

When I stop at stop light and rpm's drop to around 700 the engine wants to stall as I accelerate. Most time the rpm's at a stop sign will stay around 800 and there is no stall. Why would the rpm's drop lower than 800 sometimes and not drop other times?

Check the idle air control, MAF and TPS sensors
