I'm about to change my rear diff fluid and I wanted to check the rear wheel bearings. Is it necessary to have access inside the rear diff to change the bearings? If so, I need to do it all at once. Is the 3-9 oclock rock a good test for rear bearings? I jacked it up and turned the wheels by hand and there is a noticable bump on each rev of the tire. Also, at highway speeds, I get a revving drone. My rear end is the #45 3.50 open gears. Thanks a lot.
