Electrical problem
1994 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Truck has been sitting but started often. Started one day and idled for about 15 minutes, and then, just stopped. Will turn over strong, but won't start. Was blowing EEC-IV power relay fuses, but stopped after search for short. Changed coil when I noticed no fire at the plug wire and coil. Now, tester shows power getting to coil, but, still won't start. Changed three plugs, still no spark from coil to wires. NO SPARK. What now?

Test for injector pulse using a small bulb called a noid light. If none found, check for power supply at one side of the injector with the key on.

Use a fuel pressure gauge to test for correct fuel pressure, also noticing if the pressure holds when key is shut off.

Also, notice if fuel pressure jumps during the first 2 seconds of "key on" and again during cranking.
