Hi, I'm new to the forum. I need to replace my cabin air filter for my 2000 Expedition XLT (45k miles). Hoping to save a few $ from this, I bought the filter but don't want to tear off the whole dash just to get to it. Can someone provide step by step assistance please. Didnt really want to sign up and pester anyone but I did not see a " how-to" solution in the forum. There was 1 guy who asked the same question for his 2002 Exped but no replies since 2006! I am hoping that mine will get a response. : Roll: Thank you.

You need to remove the trim panal below passenger dash area. You might have to remove a few screws but it should be fairly easy to get to.

This was an option, so unless you know it is suppossed to be there, it may not be.
