AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM PROBLEM
June, 21, 2007 AT 9:04 AM
I have a 1999 ford expedition
eddie bower eddition
4x4, auto trans
equiped with the auto ride air system
the rear air system has gone gone out for the 3 time in 3 years. Some time ford has said it was the rear control module, some time the air pump.
What is happening is it is currently at the lowest level. When started and driving, the rear does not raise up to normal height. It does not seam like the pump is working.
how can I check system and pump?
how can I install a maunal air fill system to bypass the pump and raise the rear end and maintain air in the system at the manual set height?
any schematics or diargams that you can e-mail me of the system would be great.
