1998 Ford Escort something is killing battery

put new alternator and new battery but battery is dead within 3 days

Hello,

You most likely have a small draw on the battery.

To check you will need a test light. Then remove either the Positive or the Negative terminal. Next connect the Alligator clip to the Battery Cable End then touch the other end to the Battery Terminal.
If it lights up, and it may be very dim so may need to do it in a dark place or at night, you have a draw somewhere.

To locate the circuit that the draw it on you can start pulling Fuses one at a time checking the light each time. once the light goes out note the fuse and the items that are on it.
