My freeze plug poped out the engine block behind the water pump, how much would it cost to replace just this one?

The freeze plug itself doesn't amount to much. The big variable is what it takes to get clear access to change it. The cost amounts to the time it takes to remove whatever is in the way to access the area. In some cases that can mean removing the engine and others are readily accessible.

U don't have to drop engine just remove air filter box, a couple hoses and the tensioner pulley to at least get a little clearance. I'm thinking to save a little time, I could use a rubber expansion plug.
