i have a 2002 ram 1500, I have disconnected the heater lines to the firewall and have flushed the heater core till it ran freely and clear water. But I only have heat coming out the passenger side air vents, cool air comes out the drivers side? Also I have a hint of ant freeze smell outside the truck after it runs for a while but no one can find a leak?

The interior problem is most likely a result of a bad vacuum hose. The vents are actuated by engine vacuum. Chances are one of the vacuum hoses under the dash is either broken, disconnected, or cracked. As a result, the vent isn't allowing heat to make it to its destination.

Check for leaks. With the engine running, you may hear a hissing sound.

Let me know what you find.
