Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 217000 miles

i have a 2500 4x4 and the two vacuum hoses running from the top of the transfer case rotted off and I can find out where they go because the book on this truck doesnt give you a vacuum hose diagram from the transfer case to the top of the motor can you help with this one?

Hi: They shuld ultimately run to the intake manifold. Check on the passanger side back side of the engine. That normally is the direction they run.

Let me know what you find. Also, I'll check to see if I can find a vacuum schmatic.

After I sent that, I was thinking. I believe one runs to the engine as I said, and one to a vacuum canister. Check that out too. Also note, they run to the front axle.
