I have a 2.7 liter engine. It has 87,000 miles on it and it's a 2002 Dode intrepid. I went to Auto zone and they put my car on some diagnosis error code machine. It came up "camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction in bank A". I bought one and had a mechanic install it. While it's not happening as frequently as before it still rears it's head periodically. I recently took it back to Auto Zone where the same code came up. The attendent said that the Dodge intrepid has two (2) camshaft position sensors and my mechanic probably replaced the wrong one. Is that possible? What else could be making the error code come up? They did clear the code after my first check. It's the only code that shows up. Please help. Thank you for you help.
