98 Chrysler Intrepid 3.2L es 140,000-Miles - Steering was fine until I had to accelerate quickly, heard a noise and when I came to a stop I had no power steering when idling. If you increase rpm's to 1000-1200 steering works fine.I changed the power steering pump with a remanufactured chrysler pump and I still have the same problem.I know the next step is probably the rack but how could the rack go suddenly while I am accelerating straight up the road? The car drives fine, just no power steering when idle is at 700to 800 rpms. Is there anything I can add to power steering fluid maybe to helpthis problem?
have the same problem?
