My son was in an accident while driving a 1995 Doge Dakota. The person who hit him has no auto insurance. The body shop said the vehicle is a total loss since the repairs cost more than the vehicle is worth.

We need to repair it at least long enough for him to drive until he can find something else. The rear - end received some damage and will need to be replaced. Will a 2000 rear - end work in a 1995?
