One day, I went into my truck, cranked her, she back fired, I just left it. I went back, did few inspections, found nothing, I checked the fuel pressure, its at about 45lbs, tried replacing ignition coil, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires, checked the timing, did a visual inspection on the timing chain, checked to see if there is spark. When ever I crank her, I can smell fuel from somewhere. I bought a OBD II scanner, scanned but found only minor problems as I called chrystler dealer. The only things I have not checked are the sensors as I dont really know how and where to look for them. I am kind of assuming that it might be the crank sensor, but not sure. I am out of ideas as I did as much as I could to get her running. Thanks.
have the same problem?
