During the recent rainstorns and flooding, I drove through some heavy water on the road. The engine started missing like the spark plug wires were wet. After driving it a bit the enginre missing stopped but the check engine light came on and has stayed on for several days. Oil pressure, water temp are fine and the truck seems to be operating normally. Is it worth the price of an engine diagnostic to get the computer re-set or should I just ignore it.

Hi there,

You should get a scan just to make sure that all is OK, have the system codes cleared and you will know that if the light comes on there is a problem that need attention.
