1999 Dodge Caravan 4 cyl Automatic 222, 22 miles
When the brake light first came on I cleaned the battery cables. After a short time I noticed my lights were getting dim. So I recharged the battery and had it checked at a store. The light came on again and continued to lose power. ( I repeated this charging process over and over ). So I was advised to now replace my alternator. Once completed I made sure my battery was 100% charged and Good. Well the light Still comes on after 15 sec. Of starting the engine. I haven't driven it too far because of the cold spell; afraid I will lose power and the car will lose its lights then die on me. What do think my next step should be to resove this issue.
Thank You for your response I will really apprecitate it. Daniel in Kansas City
