My car instrument cluster (speedometer, temp, gas, gauges) top working. The light for "check gauges" is on at all time.

Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then hook it back up. This resets the BCM. If that doesn't work then chances are there is a short in the circuit board on the back of the instrument cluster. These cars are famous for the soldering breaking loose on the power pin of the circuit board. With a little patience you can resolder it yourself.
