My van needed new brakes so I replaced them and a new front drivers caliper now it locks up and actually burns. The caliper pistion wont retract into the caliper unless I open the bleeder. What have I missed

If the piston won't retract, obviously the fluid is trapped in the caliper somehow. I suppose you'd first want to recheck your brake line connection, maybe flush out the caliper to make sure there's not some foreign material trapped in there. Also, whenever I've replaced rotors on my van, I've always had some unexplained heating up to the point of slight smoking, but it's always gone away after a day or two.
