95 Dodge Avenger heat

I have a 1995 Dodge Avenger ES, 2.5 V6 with 156,000 miles on it. Recently the water pump was leaking and had to be replaced. I now have very little heat even after the car is up to operating temp. The thermostat is new. Assuming the thermostat is ok, do I look towards the heater core? How do I go about this? Thanks, watsman

A bad new thermostat and a thermostat put in backwards-clogged hose or heater core.
