I need to replace the crankshaft angle sensor can you help me please?

Engine Mechanical problem

my truck has miss. I put it on a computer. It say there is a discorlation between the camshaft and the crankshaft sensors what does this mean? Code(p1345)

In other words the cam is not where it is supposed to be in reference to the crank. It could be the Cam position sensor, the crank shaft position sensor, the gear on the distributor or the timing chain. The quickest and cheapest check is the distributor gear which is also the most common to fail between these components.

C3500 2wd. I have been looking here and other sites for the location on this engine with no good results. I have looked at the engine and it is not on the front lower (passenger side 7 pm) location, or the drivers side at the harmonic balancer.

Danny is correct but just to elaborate a little bit on it. This engine due to it having a distributor uses a pick up coil in the distributor that picks up the rotation of the crank shaft. It sends pulses to the ignition control module and it uses this to determine engine timing.
