I replaced the alternator on my 2000 Ford Ranger Right after that was completed I noticed that the coolant was leaking from the overflow port beneath the radiator cap Since this is the original cap I replaced it also. It seemed OK but I drove the truck today and noticed that it is leaking again What can be causing this

Supposed to be a hose attached going to recovery tank normal for coolant to flow out when hot then return when cooled down. Maybe got pulled off during repair
