My truck's clutch pedal has begun to stick to the floor when in gear and requires me to put my foot under it while the truck's moving to pull it up from the floor. While stuck to the floor the truck remains in gear and if I can't get the pedal up I have to brake to stall the engine so I can get the clutch pedal back up. Although it rarely smells, this clutch has never been replaced. The slave cylinder was replaced about a year ago. Clutch replacement time or a simpiler fix?

Hi there, i would be thinking that this is a hydraulic system fault with the clutch, check the fluid and check both cylinders for leaks. Sounds like maybe the clutch master is bypassing internally

Transmission problem
1993 Mazda b2600 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I have a 93 Mazda B2600i, today my truck stalled out at a light and wouldn't re-start, after moving it to a safe spot it re-started. Later in the day, I heard a clunking sound and then my clutch stopped shifting, the pettle did depress and release, but the shifter wouldn't budge untill the engine was shut off, then it shifted, I went through each gear and each moved the truck, but I couldn't shift through the gears without shutting the engine off. I drove the truck home in 3rd gear, I did hear a clunking noise when it first started out. I have replaced the Master Cylinder twice before but no other parts to the clutch have been replaced, What could the problem be, the clutch it's self, the throw out bearing, or the release cylinder, could you please assist me, thank you.

My 1988 Mazda B2600, 4WD has a manual transmission. When I engage the clutch pedal, I get a grinding of the gears when starting the truck and when shifting gears. I get the grinding only when the clutch pedal is fully pushed in. The grinding stops as soon as I release the clutch pedal. I can shift gears and it will drive with no problems except the grinding when shifting gears. One year ago I replaced the master and slave cyclinders.I checked the fluid level - it was full.
One note, this is a ranch truck driven only on ranch roads about one weekend a month. When it first occured, I had driven it from morning to mid-afternoon before the grinding started. I made it back to camp. The next morning, I checked it - no grinding. Again I drove it for a few hours and the grinding started again. I made it back to the ranch after two weeks. It was grinding when I first started the truck. I have not driven it since.

It sounds like it may have a bad throw out bearing but you should have a professional listen to it for confirmation.
