2007 Citroen C3 V8 Manual 12,000 miles
Hi. I bought a Citroen C3 which seemed to be in perfect conditions. The previous owner said he never had a problem. But it happens that every now and then, the car will simply not start! When I turn the key, the lights in the panel are on but there´s no injection sound, then the battery light blinks and the car will simply not start. I tried reseting the BSI (something I learned on the internet) and it helped one time only. I had to leave the car in a parking lot tonight because it just wouldn't start yesterday, not even with the reset of the BSI. I tried to go back in its history and I managed to speak with the first owner, who told me the car was parked in her house when it flooded. Her insurance granted her a brand new car and this C3 was "fixed" and put back in the market. Someone bought it and sold it to "silly me". I took the car to a garage, they put it in the computer and it shows everything does work properly. BUT, for some reason, the car won't start randomically, which is driving me crazy because I'm never sure if I can count on that mean of transportation. Any ideas? Would you like further information?
