I went to start the van and it started fine and ran for 5 seconds and died. This repeated 4 times. I cleaned the battery cables and now it doesn't turn over. The lights do not dim when the switch is turned to start engine. This happened a couple of weeks ago, and I put a trickle charge on for a few minutes and it started and ran fine. I brought it in to have it checked out and everything seemed to check out fine. Drove it home and parked it for a couple of weeks. Then I had the current problem of starting and dying and now nothing.
