I am trying to install a MSD 6A on my 1999 Sebring. It has the 2.5 6cyl engine. I dont know what wires are what on the coil plug. If there is a schematic of the ignition coil that you all could provide it would be very appreciated.

Thanks.
Corey

I dont need the fireing order, but thanks. I need to know where the coil is, which wire is the positive +12v of the coil when Ignition is on, and the negative wire side of the coil. Click on the web address, page 20 of the attachment (PDF) will show a typical Chrysler wiring with the MSD Ignition. These wires are not correct on the Chrysler side, but it shows a general diagram of the hook up.

Okay, sorry. You stated wires on the coil so I assumed you meant the plug wires.........

What model is your Sebring? JX , JXi, coupe, convertible..etc. ?

Below is wiring diagram for JX convertible. . see if it is same on your model .

I dont know if the other one went through, but on this project I had to scrap it because I talked to the MSD technician and was advised that the MSD hook up on my car is not recommended due to the coil and distributor being one assembly.
