Heater problem
2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 75000 miles

Hey guys, I'm workin' on my uncle's 03 PT Cruiser. I pulled a P0339 CKP sensor intermittant curcuit code. According to the Chilton manual he has, the CKP is supposed to be mounted above the oil filter. There's even a shop manual photo showing it there, but no luck with my uncle's PT. It isn't mounted there, and I can't find the thing. I even pulled the splashguard to see if it might be located around the harmonic balancer, but I can't see anything and am at a loss as to where it is supposed to be. Any ideas are welcome. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

It's on the left rear side of the engine right above the oil pan where the engine and trans meet. Here is the picture I have:

Let me know if you find it.
