I am interested in buying a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica that has been written off by an insurance company as a total loss due to flood/water damage. The car does start up, sounds and runs really good. However, there is a mildew-like smell inside which was expected, and the interrior glass still steams up on cool nights. Also, the headlight housings fog up, the radio and the power drivers seat does not work. All of the essential accessory lights appear when the key is turned on including the airbags lights. My question is, what can be done about the moisture that exists inside the car and what potential problems might I encounter if I do purchase this vehicle?
