Need some help with an intermittant fuel problem. I am on my fourth fuel pump and the problem has returned. Problem is car will not start, I can hear the fuel pump run and connecting a meter to the electrical connectors confirms it, both when the key is turned on and during the cranking. Disconnecting the fuel line at the fuel rail while trying to start there is no fuel or pressure at the rail. Filter has been replaced twice. Since it is intermittant the car sat at the dealer for a month waiting for it to fail. The last pump installed was a real Chrysler pump. Went three weeks before failing then started the next day and has run for a week now. Yesterday it decided not to start again. Each time the pump has been changed it has been the entire module and not just rebuilding the pump. What am I missing? I am at a loss and I don't think the dealership has a clue
have the same problem?
