Need to know the location for the turn signal/hazard flasher - not in fuse block or under dash. What other locations could this be found?

Thanks

Hey DENNIS69

Behind left side of dash, mounted on left air outlet duct. It is the time delay relay.

Please let us know happens so it will help others.

Best, Ken

Electrical problem
1992 Chrysler Le Baron 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 184000 miles

L/R turn signals failed. Bulbs all OK & flashers work normally. Replaced the instrument panel turn signal/high beam unit with a one from a salvage car with no luck. (High beam function works OK.) Clerk at NAPA says the four-way flasher unit might need replacement but I was unable to remove it from the steering column but did clean the pins with contact cleaner. Still no luck. When the turn signals failed it was a gradual process over several months, where they started functioning only intermittently until they final quit altogether. No other current electrical issues with this car.

I cannot understand your question. Be specific about exactly what failed. I bet you will get a specific correct answer. Ok

So id you ever get them to work? Or still no good. If you move the lever right does it light up? And left. Is it no lamops and no flash? Sorry but I have been so busy then I had some weird flu with no fever. But ok now. Feel better then ever. And that is weird. Do you think the switch is bad? Does it feel normal? I had to put two sockets for the same problem, they lit, but not enough to trip the flasher. Actually I took them out and did a at home repair. I would never fix a customers car like that but the socket ground was its brass side which wore away. So I rigged it with copper wire. Good luck with it. OK J Joe

1993 Chrysler Le Baron

When I signal for a left or right turn, the hazard lights (emergency flashers) come on.

They also come on (i.E. They work correctly) when I use the hazard on/off switch.

To JacobandNicholas_

I have a 1992 Chrysler Le Baron Convertible with a tilt steering column and have not been able t o find the loctaion for the flasher for my turn signals/hazards. They have gone out, but I can't find the location - even with a manual and several other mechanics taking a look. Do you know where it's located?

Thanks,

David
