Engine Performance problem
1997 Chrysler Cirrus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 79,000 miles

The engine hesitates when I turn the key to start my car. The battery and serpentine belts have replaced. And I had a complete tune up last fall.
Can you tell me what I should do next? Thank you.

Sincerely,

Karen Schulte

Hesitate to start! Crank OK and strong but doesn't start or slow cranking and then it start?
If slow cranking and feels as if the battery not strong to start the engine have to check battery, battery terminals make sure tight and clean, check if battery being drained as car sit overnight (battery draw test )
Crank strong and no start, check for codes, check IAC valve and throttle body, and for vacuum leaks
Check coil and distributor cap, fuel pressure
Check for trouble codes 1st let me know if any have
