Hello,

Is the check engine light on? If so will need to have codes pulled.

Could be the In-Put and/or Turbine Speed Sensors or possible the TCM (Transmission Control Module)

Check fluid level if you can then have a trans guy scan it. It may be time for a rebuild if fluid is dark brown or black

Computer codes show tcs stuck on -- if I have to change out the solenoid I hear I have to remove the left front axle to gain access to tranny -- can I change the solenoid myself or does it require special tools

First may want to check the tranny fluid level and the cooler lines from the tranny to the radiator, make sure lines are not pinched, plugged or twisted. These conditions will also set that trouble code.

Have a trans guy look at this and scan may be a valve body problem or wiring issue.

Is there a check engine light? If so, we need the code.

It could be an idle control motor failure, vacuum leak or something with the trans.
