Engine Performance problem
1999 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 207000 miles
I recently have noticed a significant change in my fuel mileage. The check engine soon light is on, and I took it to a local auto parts place that put it on a hand held diagnostic tool that threw up several codes that suggested that the fuel cap may need to be changed or the EVAP purge solenoid may have something wrong with it. If this is true where is this located on the vehicle, and how hard is it to get to. I also wondered if it might have something to do with the fact that my battery is old and needs replaced. My air filter is also in need of replacing, all of which I plan to do in the next week or so. Please advise on what to do. Thank you,
have the same problem?
