My 99 Chevy Tahoe 4WD with 60K miles pulses when the brakes are applied. It's not so bad on very light braking but on an average stop it's very noticable and very annoying. The front rotors & pads are in good shape, calipers aren't loose, the pedal seems firm so I don't think it's a bleeding issue. Any ideas?

It's in the pedal. The rotors were just recently turned when I replaced the calipers and pads. That was about 1000 miles before this problem started.
The rotors appear to be fine, not scored or show uneven wear but I guess it's possible they could be warped. One of the guide pins sticking is a possibilty. I will check that first.

The rears looked OK visually, but they are original and it's getting close to replacement time for them so I may try that as well.
